Equipment and Uniform Grant for ACOs

(Due to a lack of funding the Body Armor Grant Program has been modified)

There are hundreds of animal control professionals in the United States working in dangerous environments and they do not have proper uniforms or safety equipment to protect them. Just because an officer cannot afford these necessities doesn’t mean their safety should be at greater risk. Code 3 and our program partners are teaming up ACO’s from around the nation, Animal Care & Equipment, Kinsco, and Safelife Defense to help provide ACO’s that need it most.

To apply for this grant please click below.  The amount of equipment and uniforms that are available for distribution are dependent on donations from our program partners.  If you or your organization would like to join our donation partner program to help protect and equip ACO’s nationwide, please contact us for more information.

Face Mask Grant for ACOs

We recognize that these are financially difficult times and officers are contending with a myriad of potentially hazardous elements, animals, people, viruses, and biohazards. Our generous partner, Greater Good Charities, has donated medical flat masks and regular masks for Animal Control Officers.

Some agencies do not have the capacity to provide necessary equipment, including masks. For those officers that are not provided with a mask by their employer, you now have a resource. If interested, please complete the grant application.

Our many thanks to GreaterGood.org.

EXPERIENCE

“As a leader of this program and an ACO for over 20 years, I am excited to have a platform that is focused entirely on the needs, advancement, and development of ACO’s. This is an opportunity for ACO’s to engage in a network of professionals to receive resources, mentoring, advice, premier training and certification. ”
