CODE 3 ANIMAL WELFARE TRAINING

Disaster Response, Animal Cruelty and Animal Control Training

Code 3 Associates offers a diverse and informative set of animal welfare academies and courses focused on animal cruelty training for investigators and certified animal rescue classes. Our instructors are chosen for their expertise, experience in the field and dynamic style of teaching. All of our faculty have “been there and done that,” and are qualified to teach the various subjects by knowledge and by experience.

ANIMAL CONTROL & ANIMAL CRUELTY TRAINING

Certification

The majority of Code 3 Associates humane investigations classes and animal rescue classes are certified in partnership with Colorado State University and CSU’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

Code 3, in partnership with CSU, has established three levels of certification for Animal Control Officers and Animal Welfare Professionals – Certified Animal Control Officer, Cruelty Investigator and Master Cruelty Investigator. These levels are achieved through the completion of our Essential Animal Services Training (EAST) Academy and Equine Investigations Academy (EIA) as well as maintaining the certification levels through pursuing additional continuing education from Code 3 and approved sources. FACULTY

Code 3 Associates instructors are chosen for their expertise, experience in the field and dynamic style of teaching. All of our faculty have “been there and done that”, and are qualified to teach the various subjects, not only by knowledge but also by experience. They can demonstrate some tried and true methods, and can share experiences along with mistakes made which will help the students be able to apply the training to their specific jobs.

EXPERIENCE

“I have been given the opportunity to experience some of my most memorable disaster experiences and training through Code 3. Nashville was recently ravaged by a tornado and my experiences with Code 3 helped prepare me for the response in my very own community. For that, I am forever grateful!”
