Code 3 Associates, Inc, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, is dedicated to providing professional animal disaster response and resources to communities, as well as providing professional training to individuals and agencies involved in animal related law enforcement and emergency response.

Our mission is accomplished through hands-on animal rescue and care operations during disaster events in the United States and Canada, and through our certified animal welfare training seminars which include animal cruelty training for investigators.

I have been a Member of Code 3 since 2006. This team is a family! I feel so blessed that I have been given the opportunity to go help others in a time of need. With living in Kansas, tornado alley, I also see responding to disasters as sort of paying it forward. The training we have all taken provides us with the skills to accomplish rescuing people pets, which are also their family members. It is kinda of an oxymoron, but some of my most heart felt positive moments have occurred while deployed to a disaster. Being able to return someones pet to them and to see their excitement in such a bleak time absolutely will give you goose bumps.
